Survey Project Manager, Survey Supervisor
Randall LeCroy serves as a Survey/CAD Technician at McCrory & Williams, Inc. He holds an Associate Degree in Civil Engineering from Alabama Technical College and brings 27 years of surveying experience.
Mr. LeCroy has extensive experience using MicroStation, Fieldworks, Sitework, and COGO Classic to process and import survey field data, develop 3-D terrain models, and create detailed topographic maps. His field experience as a Crew Chief, Instrument Operator, and Rodman gives him a unique ability to interpret field data accurately and translate it into precise engineering deliverables.
He has worked on a wide range of projects, including property and mortgage surveys, bridge and highway surveys, topographic surveys, construction surveys, and utility surveys. Mr. LeCroy’s combination of field expertise and technical skills ensures seamless coordination between survey data and engineering design.
Owner, Corporate Secretary/Treasurer, Survey Supervisor
Merlin Miller currently serves as an Owner and Corporate Secretary of the firm, as well as Survey Supervisor. Merlin Miller is a Professional Land Surveyor with almost 40 years of experience, 30 of those years as a PLS.
He is involved in contract execution, client relations, budget and finance, recruiting, and the Operational Management of the surveying department. Mr. Miller, as Survey Supervisor, is responsible for the management and supervision of land survey crews and survey cad technicians for the successful completion of projects. Duties include selection of staff and equipment for project scheduling and organization, project completion, and quality review of all deliverables. Merlin’s expertise includes GPS equipment, boundary, cadastral, topographic, hydrographic and right-of-way surveying. He is assisted by a highly qualified staff, administers all areas of the survey section, including staffing, project development, quality control, equipment purchases and maintenance.
Merlin attended Auburn University, majoring in civil engineering, and the University of South Alabama, majoring in Geography. He is a licensed professional land surveyor in the states of Alabama, Louisiana, Florida, Mississippi and Tennessee.
